dooType is one of the main independent type foundries in Brazil. Supporter of significant local type events and producer of relevant content, dooType holds more than 20 type families in its portfolio and several custom projects for brands such as Honda, Sheraton Hotels, Unimed and Veja Magazine.
Eduilson Coan founded dooType in 2008 and has been working exclusively in type design since. Along these years, he built a strong portfolio of both retail and custom fonts. Eduilson is self-taught, one of the most prolific type designers in Brazil and has concluded the postgrad course at Type@Cooper, NY, in 2015.
